How far in advance should I book with you?
The sooner the better! For portraits (seniors, couples, families), 1–3 months in advance is usually plenty of time. For weddings, I recommend booking 9–12 months in advance to secure your date. That said, if your date is coming up soon, reach out anyway — I may still have availability!
How do we book you?
It’s simple! Just fill out my inquiry form and I’ll be in touch within a couple of days. Once we decide we’re a good fit, I’ll send over a contract and retainer invoice. Once those are complete, your date is officially reserved!
How many photos do we get?
Every session and wedding is unique, but I believe in delivering more than enough images to tell your story fully. Portrait sessions typically include 30–80 images depending on the session you booked, and weddings usually include 400–800 images depending on your coverage.
How do we get our photos?
All of your images are delivered through a beautiful online gallery. From there, you can download your photos in high resolution, share them with family and friends, and even order professional-quality prints and products right from your gallery. Be sure to download the images directly instead of taking screenshots — screenshots lower the quality significantly, and I want you to have the very best version of your photos.
What is your turn around time?
For portrait sessions, you can expect your full gallery within 2–3 weeks. For weddings, turnaround time is typically 6–8 weeks.
What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?
You’re not alone — a lot of people do including me! My job is to help you feel comfortable, natural, and even have fun during your session. I’ll give you prompts and gentle direction, but I’ll also leave space for genuine moments to shine through. The result? Photos that feel like you.
Do you offer albums, prints and other products?
Yes! Your photos deserve more than just living on your phone. I offer heirloom-quality albums, framed prints, and other products that bring your memories to life in a tangible way. You’ll be able to browse and order directly from your gallery.
Do you Travel?
Absolutely! I love traveling for both weddings and sessions. Travel within 30 miles of Fort Worth, TX is included, and I’m always happy to provide a custom quote for locations outside of this radius (or even destination weddings!).
What happens if the weather is bad?
If you have an outdoor session, we’ll make the final call about the weather 24 hours before your session. Please note that I also reschedule for wind above 25mph, since it can be distracting and make photos less enjoyable. If we do need to reschedule, we’ll work together to find the soonest available date that works for both of us.
What should we wear?
I always encourage outfits that feel like you but also photograph beautifully. Neutral colors, soft tones, and pieces that move (like flowy dresses) look amazing on camera. I’m happy to give feedback on outfit choices if you’d like!
Do you help choose locations?
Yes! I know plenty of beautiful spots and can recommend locations based on the vibe you’re going for — romantic, natural, urban, cozy, etc. If you already have a meaningful location in mind, I’d love to make it work too!
Do you offer payment plans?
I do! For weddings, I offer payment plans that allow you to break your total into manageable installments. For portrait sessions, the balance is typically due by the session date, but I’m happy to work with you if you need flexibility.
